Bone fractures are one of the most common injuries that occur in the bones and are usually caused by sports injuries, car accidents, falls from heights, or because of osteoporosis, as osteoporosis causes at least one million bone fractures every year worldwide.

These fractures may occur directly across or along any part of the bone. A fracture can split the bone in two or leave it in several separate parts. Bone fractures usually take time to heal.

Treatment of bone fractures:

The treatment method used varies depending on the location and severity of the fracture.

For example, in cases of fractures of the bones of the hands, feet, forearm and fractures of children, treatment is done with gypsum, while in the case of comminuted fractures, treatment is carried out with internal fixation or external fixation. Fractures may be treated with splints to stabilize them; This is to facilitate proper bone healing and reduce pain caused by movement. In severe fractures, the doctor may set an appointment for surgery, , and treatment may include nails, stainless steel plates and fixtures, or frames that hold the bones.
